In This Quiet Solitude…

The Bridgewater Triangle Review

I have always enjoyed watching documentaries, especially those dealing with anything horror-related. When I was approached to watch and review Aaron Cadieux and Manny Famolare’s “The Bridgewater Triangle,” I jumped at the chance!

The Bridgewater Triangle is a region located in the Southeastern portion of Massachusetts. Within this triangularly marked off area, occurrences of strange phenomena has been reported for over 30 years. What kind of strange phenomena? Anything you can think of! According to this documentary, there have been numerous eye-witness reports of everything from bigfoot-type creatures and large raptor-like birds, to satanic cults and ghosts, to phantom lights and fires.

In all the years I’ve been a fan of horror and horror-related material, I’ve never heard of so many paranormal happenings occurring in one ‘region’ like I’ve seen and heard in this film. The craziest part about it all is that the re-tellings and accounts seem to, for the most part, be coming from rather credible witnesses and professionals. Is it possible that all of this activity is really happening in these swamps, forests, roads, etc.?

This documentary is extremely well put together; it isn’t just a boring collection of narratives and interviews, but instead includes some awesome imagery and recreations woven into all of the stories. It’s very informative and the filmmakers seem to have really covered all of their bases with this one. The camera work is great and the overall quality is outstanding.

I don’t really review documentaries too often, but I’m glad I was able to give this one a shot. I think anyone and every one who has a chance to check it out, should definitely do so. “The Bridgewater Triangle” gets an overall rating of 4 pukwudgies out of 5!
