Over the years, I’ve probably watched The Exorcist at least 10 times. It is an undeniable classic in horror cinema and everyone knows it. I haven’t, however, ever watched any of the sequels that came after it. Hell, most of the time, I forget that the sequels even exist. With a brand new home release on the horizon, I figured there was no better time to finally check out John Boorman’s Exorcist II: The Heretic.

The Chilling Review
It has officially been Spring for about two weeks now. The problem it seems is that Mother Nature either didn’t get the memo or decided to extend April Fools Day this year. Here in New York, it is currently 36 degrees with winds up to 25 miles per hour. Looking out at the snow-covered trees, I couldn’t think of a more fitting film to watch than Deland Nuse and Jack Sunseri’s The Chilling.
